The Botswana Police Service has issued a warning to the public against gathering at crime scenes, especially when firearms are involved. This follows an incident yesterday in which three men were apprehended at the Fields Mall after an attempted robbery.
In an interview with Gabz FM News, Police Public Relations Officer Near Bagali emphasized that a large crowd of onlookers gathered at the scene while police were engaged with the armed suspects, escalating the danger of the situation.
Bagali further confirmed that the 3 male suspects comprising of a 31-year-old from Kanye and two South Africans aged 31 and 35 are currently in police custody while investigations into the incident continue.
