Stanley Tshosane, the former head coach of Botswana’s national football team, the Zebras, and the first Motswana to lead the team to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), passed away this morning at the age of 68.
Tshosane’s coaching career was marked by his dedication to Botswana football. He managed several local clubs, including Matebejane, Gabane United, Mogoditshane Fighters, and BDF XI. His association with the national team began in various capacities, including assistant roles and caretaker positions, before being appointed as the head coach in 2008.
